In his new role, Harris will be responsible for driving revenue growth and shaping go-to-market strategies while mentoring sales managers to further bolster SmartRent’s sales culture.
Harris is a strategic multifamily revenue leader with 20 years of experience driving sales expansion within the industry. He partners with owners and operators to help them improve NOI through operational efficiency, resident experience and growth-oriented portfolio strategies.

Prior to joining SmartRent, Harris spent more than six years at Valet Living, where he held progressive sales leadership roles, most recently serving as a Regional Vice President of Sales, leading Regional Directors within the Enterprise Sales organization. Before joining Valet Living, Harris spent 14 years with ForRent.com in sales and leadership roles, followed by a year with Apartments.com as a Regional Director. Throughout his career, Harris has built high-performing sales organizations and helped multifamily operators solve complex business challenges through technology-driven solutions.
