SmartRent today announced the appointment of Terry Danner, CEO of multifamily workflow management leader SightPlan, as its Executive Vice President of Sales. The news follows SmartRent’s acquisition of SightPlan in March 2022.
SmartRent has acquired SightPlan in a $135 million all-cash transaction. According to SmartRent, this acquisition will further its product road map and augment the breadth of cloud-based SaaS solutions for clients—creating a comprehensive property and resident management platform.
SightPlan Inc. is gearing up to grow in downtown Orlando. Orlando city commissioners on Nov. 8 approved a High-Value, High-Wage Funding Agreement with the Orlando-based apartment management software firm. SightPlan will get up to $66,500 for creating 19 high-wage jobs by 2025.
SightPlan has announced its acquisition of InfoTycoon, a digital due diligence provider. SightPlan intends to use InfoTycoon’s existing due diligence to extend its existing service platform. This will allow the platform to provide a combined solution that covers the entire property life cycle.
