Properties Owned By REIT Accused Of Fraud To Be Auctioned Off

Forty-six properties, including single-family houses, rowhouses and multifamily properties, are being auctioned in Philadelphia and neighboring Chester and Delaware counties. This is a court-ordered auction for properties owned by RAD Diversified REIT, which was charged with fraud in July due to allegations it had raised $152 million from more than 5,500 individuals while lying about its performance and misappropriating the money. The auction, conducted by Tranzon Alderfer, began Oct. 6.
