by Darcey Leach

Grace Hill, an innovator of talent and customer management solutions for commercial and multifamily real estate, today announced the company has entered into an agreement with Interplay Learning, a leading provider of online and virtual reality training for the essential skilled trades, to augment Grace Hill’s maintenance training catalog with Interplay’s immersive skills training.

The partnership embeds Interplay’s vast library of maintenance training seamlessly into Grace Hill’s Vision Learning Management System (LMS) without the need for extra connection steps. Now, Grace Hill clients can add 243 Interplay immersive courses to the normal learning paths they create. In addition to video-based content and hands-on simulations, Interplay offers a training platform that provides skills assessments and enables administrators to assign content based on the results. Multifamily companies will be able to train new maintenance teams faster, enhance the skills of current maintenance associates and provide opportunities for career advancement.

“Grace Hill is committed to offering its clients the best-in-class solutions in every area of multifamily training, and the content from Interplay is the perfect enhancement to our current maintenance and safety training line,” said Kendall Pretzer, Chief Executive Officer at Grace Hill. “There is a challenge meeting the demand for skilled maintenance workers in multifamily, and this requires access to unparalleled maintenance education. Partnering with Interplay, an industry leader in skills training, allows communities to develop new technicians and upskill their current teams quickly, meeting their need for a qualified and reliable maintenance team.”

Customer experience teams from both companies will work together to ensure that Grace Hill’s and Interplay’s mutual clients will have access to the optimal training experience in Vision LMS. The content is continually updated and saves users time and energy, allowing their focus to remain on the training.

“With ongoing labor shortages, multifamily owner/operators must find innovative ways to build their workforces and get critical maintenance teams job ready faster,” said Doug Donovan, founder and CEO of Interplay Learning. “Our partnership with Grace Hill provides mutual clients with seamless access to Interplay’s extensive catalog of immersive, on-demand maintenance technician training so they can develop a highly-trained team quickly and grow their talent in-house.”
