As the lines between apartments and hotels become increasingly blurred, some owner-operators are leaping forward by offering properties with resort-class perks, including a return to programmed spaces. 

Amenities such as concierge service, housekeeping, coffee service, hospitality services, onsite vending and retail, valet and units with designer furniture are beginning to make an appearance in multifamily communities. Taking the resort-style approach to a property can help build community among residents and lead to retention increases of up to 60%.
